This weekend saw the chook pen get a bit of TLC. The marri trees which were felled last year were finally dragged out - their leaves had dried and fallen making excellent bug forage spots.
I made 2 new log piles, one on top of a small mulch pit. In a few months I'll dismantle them, giving the chooks a super bug feast treat!
